About Us

My name is Anya Ursu and I am so happy to see that you've found OTR. Welcome! 

 

I'm a parent of two active kids, a full-time medical practice manager and what I like to call a "momprenuer!" I am a first generation immigrant from Ukraine and a Toledo, Ohio, native. My alma mater includes the Notre Dame Academy Eagles, The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Capital University Crusaders!

I started Over the Rainbow after realizing that so many parents like myself are often forced to make the decision between family vacations, and clothing/entertaining our children. I also found that I constantly have piles & piles of clothing that no longer fit my kids and toys that are no longer played with at my home. I know that these items are worth MUCH more than the typical "chain" kids consignment store will offer me.  For me, personally, buying new brand-name items for my kids just isn't smart shopping.

 

Last but not least, OTR exists because consigning is FUN...like really fun and honestly, a little addicting once you get going! A big venue, an amazing community of consignor families and thousands of items under one roof...MAKING money while you're shopping for your kids ...you can't beat that!

Starting in 2024, OTR has added a sister sale called The Treasure Chest. TTC will be an elevated shopping experience focusing on name-brand apparel and accessories for women &children. Check out our info page for TTC on the home page!

I take great pride in providing this opportunity to families in the greater Toledo area and I am always looking for partnerships and ways to give back to our great community. All unsold items are donated to directly benefit women and children in need.  We also partner with local foster agencies to provide free shopping opportunities for those who need it most.
